Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items that are upgraded are components that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to provide a bonus. They tend to be more expensive and require that the item be of the appropriate rank.

After you've entered a few glyphs, the Glyphs panel will keep an eye on the last 35 distinct ones you used and display them under Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel in order to see all 35). You can also remove the glyph from the list by clicking it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
Another feature of the Glyphs panel is that it allows you to create and edit an individual glyph set which is helpful when you have to write certain types of text frequently. This will help you avoid having to manually insert every glyph when you need it.
A custom glyph set may include the maximum number of glyphs, 31, including both the base name and its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) and lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_), and other glyphs. The glyphs in the suffix could include ligatures or contextual alternates which are variants that combine two or more characters into one visually unified symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that provides extra bonuses to items, including extra stats. They are available in three types: rerolling and leveling up and recycling. Each type offers a distinct set of bonuses that are added to the item.
Reroll Tokens are used to alter the item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. This can be useful if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than what the player's expectations or if its current substats aren't ideal.
Rerolling an item costs 1 token and will reset the upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set, and level intact. When an item is upgraded, it increases its rank, and with each tier, the main stat is increased by +3, and a random extra stat is boosted alongside it. The ability to level an item to its max possible level increases its level by 1.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints appear in envelopes at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using the Grab. Each blueprint has its own icon, and each type of upgradeable item has each with a distinct icon:
Some recipes require certain Appliances or Ingredients which can be obtained by choosing the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and ingredients are considered staples, which means that they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a higher likelihood of appearing if a certain Franchise Card is selected from the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items in it will remain in the pool for the duration of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product that is made of recycled material. Most recycled products are sent back to their original manufacturer to be remanufactured as an entirely new product. We refer to this as "closing of the loop of recycling."
